Sounds wonderful, Nelly! I have a copy, too, so I can bring it to you at the next MOPS meeting (Oct. 6th). Will that give you enough time to read it? Let me know if you want it!

I will be there ... where is it going to be??? And count me in on a dessert. I have been making chocolate chip cookie bars and lemon bars ... they remind me of my child hood. SO, depending on my mood I will bring either cookie bars or lemon bars.

Hey, all! We're meeting at Jamie W-J's house for Classics Club! Jamie, can you send out or post directions when you get a chance? It looks like we've got one dessert coming -- we'll probably need two more.

Sound good? See you all then! :D

Okay, I'm just waaaaayyy out of it today! Jamie has already posted directions (on page one of this forum), and we have TWO desserts coming (one from Nelly and one from Heather), so we probably need only one more. And I need a little more sleep. ;)

Hi Ladies,
I am going to sit this one out. Haven't started the book and don't think I'll have time to. Have fun!

Just found out that Ben will be out of town this evening and can't watch the kids, so I won't be able to make it for this one. I had a few questions about it too, so I guess I'll just pick someones brain about it later. Have a great evening ladies.

Hi all,

I'm looking forward to Classics at my house tonight, but I want to warn anyone worried about getting sick that two of my kids have a runny nose and cough with intermittent fevers over the weekend. One of them may be home but has instructions to keep to her own corner of the house :). I also have a runny nose and cough, but no fever yet. I am feeling well enough to host and don't want to miss the discussion. I am taking extra precautions washing my hands etc, when preparing coffee cups, plates etc. for group tonight, so it should be relatively safe! But for anyone trying really hard to not be exposed, my house might not be the best place to be tonight.

Does anyone think this will be a problem?

Ha! I work in a public school with kids hacking a coughing and hugging and ..... you get the picture. Your home will be a safe haven! A few coughs and sniffle won't keep me away.

It's not keeping me away, either! Gabby and Doug have the same thing, I think. Thankfully! I was thinking Gabby might have the flu, but I think it's just that same cold with intermittent fever. I've just got a headache so far -- nothing new! :D Unless Doug feels terrible and wants me to stay home, which is unlikely as he is NOT the baby-type when he's sick, I'll be there tonight. I'll whip up a pan of brownies since we're missing out on Emily's apple crisp! I'll take the extra precautions while baking, too. :)

See you all tonight (I hope!)
